The ‘shields’ cant take it

Posted in Bill Gates, RDF, Steve Jobs by Tony C on June 25, 2007

As both Steve Clayton and James Senior have mentioned it I’m going to be late and probably last as usual.  But it is funny!

Was Steve Ballmer suffering from some sort of reality distortion when he said (during at interview about the Zune) “every computer has wi-fi”?

I have it on good authority from one of my mates, whose computer doesn’t have wi-fi, that not all computers have wi-fi.

Don’t all senior execs regardless of organisation have some sort of RDF?

    No Wi-Fi? Sorry….can’t stop laughing!! :o)

Yes, many (not all, leaves himself with get-out clause) senior execs have the filter on.

Desktop computers don’t tend to have wi-fi, do they? Perhaps they do now, but hardware bought a couple of years would still be current in terms of computing power required (ignoring Vista) so wouldn’t be replaced on the strength of requiring wi-fi.
