Two great blogs

Posted in future, maps by Tony C on June 16, 2007

I’ve been popping over to Strange Maps for a while now and I love it.  This for example is just a taste of kind of thing you’ll find, Middle Earth layered onto a map of Europe…read the Strange Maps post as it’ll make sense.

The other is linked from Strange Maps and looks at a future promised but never seen…a Paleo-Future.  It’s interesting to see people from the past predict the world we live in today and generally how wrong they were.  This is a cracker from Hiram Maxim, yep the chap who invented the machine gun. (Click for a larger readable version…it’s worth it.)
