Can Paul McKenna make me thin?
Anyone who knows me will also know that I carry a few extra pounds, well more than a few. Like most of the population I’ve dabbled with diets but dieting as we all intrinsically know is just plain wrong, in the body vs diet war the body will always win.
Paul McKenna though reckons you can lose wait and still eat what you want. This might sound daft as what if you just want to eat chocolate or cake, but McKenna’s position is that if you have a healthy relationship with food and trust what you body tells you you’ll eat sensibly, after all your body knows what it needs.
There are 4 Golden Rules:
When you are hungry eat.
Eat what you want, not what you think you should.
Eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful.
When you think you are full, stop eating.
All sounds pretty simple. Of course there is a bit more to it than that but not much. As this doesn’t involve counting calories, low fat meals or weekly weight-ins it’s not about denial or guilt. For that reason alone it has to be worth investigating.
